SCHI LLC, offers sewer scope inspections with a report for homes in the greater Nashville and Middle TN areas. This is a sewer scope inspection of the lateral sewer line from the cleanout to the municipal tie-in, or septic tank inlet, or a maximum of 100 feet. Whichever is first. This is NOT a SEPTIC TANK INSPECTION. This sewer scope inspection is considered an ancillary inspection and is not included as part of the Standard Home Inspection performed in accordance with the Tennessee Standards of Practice. It can be ordered during the online ordering process. The sewer scope inspection is limited to the portions of the residential sewer lateral that is accessible by camera from an available access point.
The sewer scope inspection is not technically exhaustive and does not guarantee the condition, performance, or remaining service life of the sewer system. The inspector does not dismantle plumbing components, excavate, pressure test, flow test, or otherwise verify the complete condition of the sewer line. The sewer scope camera may be unable to pass through portions of the line due to blockages, standing water, offsets, collapsed pipe, excessive bends, construction features, or other obstructions. |
